This plant is native to South Africa, a real talking point it has large, exotic, paddle-shaped leaves on long, elegant stems. The leaves of the Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Nicolai) are a gorgeous glossy dark green colour and will form splits as they mature to ensure younger leaves have enough light to flourish. This is a relatively low-maintenance houseplant that offers a big impact.
